Conference interpreter, translator, English and French teacher, Nora is a foreign language buff. She also studied Japanese at the National Institute of Oriental Languages and Cultures (INALCO) and, still in Paris, conference interpreting at ESIT. At the same time, she was a volunteer interpreter for the Rom Mission with the Médecins du Monde. She is one of the founding members of the Thesaurus association. Her goal is to offer children in need new perspectives, by sharing with them her passion for foreign languages.
Ioana is the asociation's PR coordinator. Having gathered experience in sales, front office, back office, training and finance, she is a valued member of the Thesaurus Team. Appreciated for proactivity, perseverence, optimism, and creativity. Oana is a committed and motivated foreign language trainer, convinced that the best kind of learning is customized learning, especially through games and mental anchors. She brings to the table over 600 hours of foreign language teaching. She is a certified trainer and translator. At this time, her training abilities are focused on the „English for all” teaching project for the children at the Found Family Association (AFR), in Cluj-Napoca. Besides volunteering, she works for Office Depot, as team leader, and is a member of Toastmasters International.
